It has been a few days since the start of the new year, and news from the world of watchmaking has certainly not been long in coming.
From January 10 to 14, 2023, the fourth edition of LVMH Watch Week takes place. At this event organized by the LVMH Group in Singapore, Bulgari, Hublot, TAG Heuer, and Zenith will present new and exciting watch creations.
Between them, the Roman Maison founded back in 1884, after a 2022 full of novelties and records, has just presented several models dedicated to women’s wrists including new versions of what represents one of Bulgari’s workhorses: the Serpenti collection.

Instantly recognizable by all for its sinuous and elegant design inspired by one of the most well-known reptiles, the origins of the Serpenti Tubogas by Bulgari date back to 1948, the year Bulgari created a jewel-watch capable of hugging the wrist thanks to Tubogas spirals.

Created through the use of a complex technique that required wrapping several meters of a gold or steel ribbon around itself, without welding, Bulgari’s Serpenti Tubogas over the years has been made in different variations and sometimes embellished with some of the world’s most precious stones.

Characterized in some of its versions by a snake’s head below which the dial is hidden, in 2022 Bulgari incorporated the smallest round mechanical movement, the petite BVL 100 caliber, into the Serpenti of the High Jewelry collection.

Parallel to the Tubogas collection from which it takes its inspiration, the Serpenti Seduttori collection was born in 2019, again featuring the reptile as a symbol of strength, vitality and renewal.
Distinguished for being an animal with strong seductive abilities, endowed with radiant femininity, these characteristics are embodied to perfection within Bulgari’s Serpenti Seduttori collection.

Featuring a sinuous case that alludes to a snake’s head, the models in this collection are complemented by a hexagonal scaled bracelet. This year, at the LVMH Watch Week 2023 taking place these days in Singapore, Bulgari presented the new Serpenti Tubogas Infinity along with two new models from the Serpenti Seduttori collection.

Available in two variants, one with a double pink gold hairspring (ref. 103792) and one with single hairspring, also in pink gold (ref. 103791), the new Serpenti Tubogas Infinity features a snake-shaped silhouette that extends from the 35 mm diameter pink gold case to the beginning of the bracelet.

Matching perfectly with the brilliant-cut diamonds that make up the silhouette of the snake is the rose gold bezel bezel set with 44 brilliant-cut diamonds that goes to form the head of the snake.

The dial, also composed of 262 diamonds, presents a pleasing contrast to the rose gold crown set with a cabochon-cut pink rubellite. Designed to be like a second skin for the wearer, the two new Bulgari Serpenti Tubogas Infinity watches are animated by a high-precision quartz movement, customized by Bulgari.

Enriching the Serpenti Seduttori collection are two new models both featuring a stunning black lacquered dial.

Both models feature a 33 mm case enhanced by the crown set with a cabochon-cut pink rubellite.

The first model, with reference 1034451, features a steel case and a bracelet, also in steel, with its iconic hexagonal scales that seems to merge with the case.

In contrast, the second model presented, with reference 103799, features a steel case with a rose gold bezel, materials that are echoed on the bracelet made with the same finish as the all-steel model.
As in the Serpenti Tubogas Infinity, we find a high-precision quartz movement, customized by Bulgari, animating the two watches in the new Serpenti Seduttori.
The list price of the new Serpenti Seduttori, will be EUR 5,050.00 for the steel version and EUR 8,550.00 for the steel and rose gold version.
