View all sorts of brewing equipment.

Hidden in the old stables and tannery of breathtaking Wiltz Castle, this small museum explores more than 6,000 years of beer-production. The most notable exhibits here feature the brewing advancements developed in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

The museum is made up of five rooms, each exploring a different theme, including a brief history of beer, the ingredients in beer, and different brewing methods. One of the highlights is the historic pub room, or Café Jhang Primus, in which are gathered furniture and objects from regional pubs around Luxembourg and assembled to create a cozy pub that truly makes you feel like you've stepped back in time.

The other room that's not to be missed is the Old Tannery, which features the respected and prolific tanning tradition of Wiltz, and is, of course, located in the castle's original tannery. Visitors who take a guided tour will not only learn about the history of Luxembourgish brewing from an expert, but will also get to taste local beers at the end of the tour.
