Prestatyn Roman Bathhouse in Denbighshire, Wales

The Prestatyn Roman Bath House was first discovered during excavations in the 1930s.

It was then re-covered and excavated again in the 1980s, during the construction of the neighbouring housing estate. The bathhouse was built around 120CE by soldiers from the 20th Legion in Chester.
