When Jenny Products invented the steam cleaner in 1927, it was originally called the “Hypressure Vapor Spray Generator.” That name proved to be a bit of a mouthful, and was eventually shortened to “High Pressure Jenny.” As Jenny Products Company continued their successful business, they decided to celebrate.
In the late 1960s, the company erected this spinning fiberglass globe on a tall pole. Though shaped like a water tower, this is in fact a map of the earth which serves as an eye-catching advertisement for Jenny Products.
