A family hardware store draws you in deeper around every turn, as shelves of tools give way to a collection of vintage motorcycles. There's no charge to enter and take a look at the relics, which include 1967 world speed record setter Burt Munro's motorcycle, equipment, and original shelves of broken pistons and conrods.  

For the kids (or enthusiastic adults), they can climb inside a prop from the 2005 movie The World's Fastest Indian—a replica of the streamlined motorcycle shell that Munro built to claim the land speed record on what was a truly old motorcycle even then.

The longer you look, the more there is to notice. Around every doorway stands some kind of machinery or contraption from times past.
